If you intend on

using a Z



025 in a

room, make sure

your amplifier,

speaker, and audio

wiring from your

“local” source are

run to the KEYPAD

location.

Set DIP Switch #1

on the Z



630’s

front panel to the

UP or “FIXED”

position.

The Z•025 also enables the connection of the Page &

Doorbell Override control signal from a Z•600 Comm

Controller. This permits ELAN Page and Doorbell audio to

be heard in the zone wether you are listening to the

distributed audio system or a local source.

The Z•025 will automatically pass the Page and/or

Doorbell signal when it is detected, then switch back to the

original audio source when the Page and/or Doorbell has

ended.
