Controlling AAdditional CComponents

Although the Z•630 can directly select and control up to six

sources, a seventh source (i.e. an A/V Receiver) may be

controlled via the Z•630’s ALL port IR Pass-Thru feature.

Additionally, if multiple Z•630s are used, the “IR ALL” ports

on the AUX Z•630s may be utilized to control additional

source components from any zone on any chassis.

In the scenario below, the A/V Receiver may select any of

the sources it is “sharing” with the Z•630 using the

receiver’s original hand-held remote––or a learning remote

which has been programmed to control the receiver, the

source components, and the ELAN Z•630.
